I was taken in two days ago by ambulance to Memorial and it was the absolute worse experience. I was in the hall for 2 hours without any help. When they did move me to a room with tons of people they still didn't help. I told the nurse I was going to pass out and she said just make sure you stayed on the chair if I passed out. I did pass out and still no one helped. People who looked absolutely fine and laughing were being seen before me. I was passing kidney stones and ready to die. It was a horrible experience. I thought this was the best hospital, boy was I wrong. They need to do something to help the people who are in so much pain.

This is the worst experience of any hospital. Nurses are ignorant, abusive, and uncaring. I was there after back surgery. After four days, I had to make a choice of staying there in the hell hole or go home in pain. I decided to go home because the treatment I received by the staff was unbearable. No one cared about my comfort. I mustโ€™ve had around 15 different nurses. My regular nurse was either on break not working nights or day off. I could not believe how the room looked. The equipment in the room was antiquated and uncomfortable. If you have a choice, do not stay at this hospital, although it has a beautiful lobby it does not reflect the room that I was in. Replace your staff and upgrade your rooms with beds, mattresses, equipment, paint, and so on.

My mother was hospitalized here twice earlier this year for various issues. The hospital is seriously under-staffed and I'll tell you about two serious mistakes exemplifying that fact. One day during her first stay, they transferred my mom to a different room and no one plugged in her oxygen once she was transferred. She was without oxygen until my dad and I (who were there every single day throughout visiting hours) noticed that it was not plugged in to the wall. Because of this and other issues, we paid someone to stay with her at night after visiting hours. One night, the person we paid could not find the respiratory therapist to place my mom's bipap mask on her face. The therapist just never showed up and my mom was not placed on the machine. Because of that, she was in bad shape by the time my dad got there in the morning and they were considering putting her in the ICU because of it (thankfully not necessary once they finally put her on the bipap after he arrived). The report said that my mom refused to put the mask on. That was a lie, which both my mom and the person who we hired confirmed. What a disgrace.

Im a type one diabetic and nothing has been a priority than finding a Hospital that actually cares and does everything in their power to get me answers. Iโ€™ve always rushed to this emergency care even tho Iโ€™m not close by, no other hospitals near my location have actually HEAR ME out like millers childrenโ€™s. Other hospitals just work robotic mode and this hospital works with love and actual care, actually caring for their patients . I have so much faith in this hospital team. This time I came in to the ER for a horrible wound that scare me to death and they took me in immediately. After being transferred to the hospital from ER. I was welcomed by an amazing staff , through the days I had to stay, it was quite sad but the staff was very positive feeding me with caring thoughts some jokes and just encouraging me to stay strong. Always checking up on me as they do so for others at the same time. No rest! Everyday a doctor gets in touch and presents themselves to build the trust i say, they do focused on not just seeing the patient but making sure we feel like home, a loving one. Managers also come in and check to see how Iโ€™m liking my stay and making sure to keep me entertained as Iโ€™m

We had a very good experience with the staff at the emergency department. Husband had fallen down and hurt shoulder the day before. Wait time was short and an X-ray taken immediately. Asked to wait in another room for a few minutes then doctor came and talked to my husband with good news because there was not broken bones. I commend and appreciate the professionalism and friendliness of everyone. Keep up the good job!
